The Alison Rose Foundation (ARF) was created in 2020 by Ali’s husband, Justin, her parents, Al & Amy Carey and some close friends to honor Ali’s legacy and to support organizations combating Amniotic Fluid Embolisms, lowering maternal death rates and supporting maternal and baby health.

The Organization has sponsored a number of activities since its creation. The annual golf tournaments have raised over $85,000, and blood drives in both Buffalo and Rochester which have resulted in the collection of over 200 units of blood. An annual day of giving each year and various spontaneous donation days have resulted in additional contributions.

In 2020, the first ARF donation was made to the Amniotic Fluid Embolism (AFE) Foundation ($25,000). In 2021, a donation of $34,000 was made to the AFE Foundation concurrent with a two year commitment of $10,000 per year to the Golisano Children’s Hospital of Rochester NY. In honor of Ali’s 35th birthday in 2022, $35,000 was donated to the AFE Foundation. Additionally, the second $10,000 to Golisano Children’s Hospital and $10,000 each to Sister’s Hospital Foundation and Oishei Children’s Hospital of Buffalo Foundation. In 2023, donations included $36,000 to the Amniotic Fluid Embolism (AFE) Foundation to further research efforts of amniotic fluid embolisms, $5,000 to Sisters Hospital Foundation dedicated to the Labor and Delivery ward and $5,000 to The Arc Erie County New York dedicated to their Preschool Education Program
